"Head in the Flowers" 12" x 12" Materials: flowers and hot glue. Artist Statement: Ever since I was little I have always admired flowers. I have admired their beauty and what they stand for. In Process:  "Blast from the Past" 2" x 18" Materials: Cloth, lemongrass essential oil, book page shavings. Artist Statement: When i found out we could use scent as a material for this project i know just what I could do. This piece is a moment from when I was younger. I was always close with my dad growing up, we would do everything together. This piece represents a specific memory of me sitting with him in a rocking chair, reading together. The cloth is the closest material to that of the blanket I had and I used book shavings covered in lemongrass scent because lemongrass was a present scent in the memory.
